Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is the certificate, which is issued by Florida Nursing Assistant Registry after the successfully competition of nurse training and tests. The CNA certification in Florida requires a total of 120 hours training but as per federal law, you require to undergo at least for 175 hours that includes a minimum of 75 hours course training with 100 hours of clinical rotation that goes for 8 to 13 weeks in order to earn 75 accredited hours. This training includes clinical instruction and classroom learning. It is advised to attend the training program which is approved by the state of Florida. CNA Certification Renewal in Florida:

It is necessary for you, to get your nursing assistant license renewed in every 2 years. You will receive information 2 to 3 months before your certificate expiration date from the Florida Nurse Aide Registry (FNAR), which states about your license renewal. If in case, you don’t receive any information regarding this, you may contact and get the form from the FNAR or you CNA visit Medical Quality Assurance.

You also need to work as a nursing assistant or related work for at least 24 hours before the renewal. If you don’t perform this, you license will not be renewed and you will be asked to take the CNA exam again.
